Career Fair -2025

The Ruhuna DCS career fair is an annual event focused on interviews conducted by potential employers from the industry for recrutment and intership opportunities.
The Department of Computer Science, with the support of the Computer Science Community of the Faculty of Science, University of Ruhuna, is organizing the Career Fair on 30th April 2025. This event serves as a platform for companies to identify and recruit talented candidates to meet their future needs.
The primary audience for this event includes:

• Bachelor of Computer Science undergraduates seeking six-month or one-year internships to fulfill degree requirements.
• Graduates who have completed internships and are seeking permanent positions in the industry.
• Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) students completing their degrees and looking for permanent positions.

Additionally, the week leading up to the fair, from 23rd April to 30th April, will be declared as Career Fair Week. During this period, awareness sessions will be conducted for all students enrolled in Computer Science degree programs. These sessions, held both in-person and online, will include a series of technical and non-technical workshops. Topics will cover industry practices, emerging technologies, career opportunities, and strategies for preparing to seize these opportunities.

 

How to Participate

Industries are invited to participate in the Career Fair through sponsorship or by ing space for their stails. There are three sponsorship categories available: Platinum, God and Silver, each offering different benefits. A detailed breakdown of the benefits and aites provided for each category is outlined in the following table.

In addition to sponsorships, companies can also reserve the required space to participate the Career Fair. The rates and facilities for stall reservations are clearly outlined below. These opportunities provide industries with the chance to showcase their brand, connect with talented students, and contribute to the overall success of the event.
